1. Load the two parcels
Follow Fumi to the cabinet beside the Post Office counter. Use X — Check, then A — Add Package.
Arrange both parcels in the basket grid:
| Action | Controller prompt |
|---|---|
| Rotate the selected parcel | LB / RB |
| Place it in the grid | A |
| Return while arranging | B |
| Finish packing | B — Finish |
The two parcels are Old Sumo Videos — Tetsuo and Baseball Cap — Taiga. One packing arrangement puts Taiga’s parcel on the right and rotates Tetsuo’s into the remaining space.
2. Deliver Tetsuo’s videos
Follow Tetsuo’s map marker toward the large steps and the sumo shelter. Talk to him and choose the envelope dialogue option. His response about the videos is followed by the first-delivery tutorial card.
The June demo sequence then continues into a sumo activity and A Heavy Weight. That activity is part of the shown sequence, rather than a rule that every delivery requires a minigame.
3. Take Taiga’s parcel off the bike
Meet Fumi beside the baseball field and dismount beside the BMX. Use Y — Open Package Menu, select Taiga / Baseball Cap, then use A — Select Package.
The X prompt depends on where Pon is:
- Near the bike: Insert Package.
- Away from the bike: Throw Package.
- After a missed throw: Recall Package, when that prompt is available.
4. Deliver to Taiga
Enter the baseball field, retrieve the parcel from the bike and throw it toward Taiga. A yellow power indicator appears before release. If a throw misses, use X — Recall Package to recover it before trying again.
Taiga’s conversation confirming receipt is the delivery success signal. A parcel leaving Pon’s hands alone does not mean it was delivered.
5. Return to the Post Office
Go back to the Post Office marker and continue the counter conversation. Fumi confirms the deliveries meet the Post Office standard; Bunta then tells Pon he has passed. Continue to the trial completion tutorial.
Passing this trial is separate from finishing the whole demo. See the demo overview for its overall ending and the shrine lesson for Kit’s later task.
